On edit, given the OPs other thread this thread should also go into the doomed thread category...
What I originally posted... Glitches like these often have the root cause in a single poor ground connection. Hopefully the dealer tech runs down the problem quickly for you and I expect they will find it got out of the plant with a connector that didn't have the hardware properly tightened.

Generally, a forum troll will not give his real name and phone number (which anyone with a smart phone can verify as accurate). So we might ought to hold any less than helpful comments for a while and give the guy a chance.
If the car is at MacMulkin Chevrolet it will be fixed. It sounds like the problem is electronic and those are usually plug in replacement fixes and permanently solved.
Sheesh, if the poor guy is on the level like I believe he is, imagine the nightmare! I could tell a similarly incredible tale about a brand new Jeep GC Overland that left me stranded on I-5 a half hour after I took delivery. I would be skeptical of my own story if I hadn't seen it.
I wish Mr. Kadra the best with whatever ails him or his car.

Kevin, you need to back to the dealership and have them look at all of the issues with your car.
As with any brand of car, sometimes this happens. It's very rare, but Corvette is not the only brand that has had this happen before. We here, on the Forum, will not be able to provide you with any different suggestions. That is your best option.
Your car is under warranty-I suggest you contact your sales person IMMEDIATELY and make them aware of your problems and situation with your car.
If your car IS back at the dealership (as stated in the title of your thread), MacKulkin is a good shop and operation. I'm confident they'll figure out what's going on with your C7 Z51.

I'm curious. How exactly do you use a smart phone to verify that a phone number is accurate? And what is your definition of accurate? To me it would mean that this is a valid number and that it belongs to this guy in particular. I don't know of an app that does that reliably - do you?

If you are having issues with the car, you have a warranty. Take it to the dealer and have it fixed. And as mentioned, read up on your state's Lemon Law just in case there are problems getting it fixed.

Kevin,
The tens of thousands of us fortunate C7 owners who are driving our dream C7 with no issues wish you all the best. It sounds like you are one of the very few unfortunate C7 owners with some initial issues.
Let us know how everything goes after you talk to the dealer and everything is fixed. We'll talk to you then. Good luck.

I suppose this guy could have used somebody else's name and city and area code and pretended to be Kevin when he is really petermj or B&W, but before I called him out in public I think I would call the number he listed and speak with him. I'm not going to because I believe he is legit.
I could, however, be very wrong. Kevin's response to the near neighbor who kindly offered to meet with him and try to help is probably the best tell.

And even if he's legit, I wonder how he expects the forum to help him. It's not like this forum is owned by GM.

Mine broke down at the dealership (sort of). I took it for a test ride. Came to an agreement on price. Went in and paid. Then went to leave and the car wouldn't start!!!!
They had the service manager and a tech looking at it along with the sales guy. They said they were going to replace the battery, which they did. It didn't make a difference. Turns out someone (salesman) had the wrong fob in their pocket when trying to start it. The reprogramed both fob's and everything has been good since.
When I came out and the salesman said they couldn't get the car to start I immediately offered $3000 less for the car and said I would take the way it was.
Moral of the story, Chit happens. They will get you all fixed up.

I think he'd rather someone called him or text him. Doesn't seem like he checks back to see what has been offered for advise. Crickets. I live on this forum and no where near him so I'm no help.

I don't know why anyone would doubt my post is real, but anyway thanks for getting back to me. is this your first corvette also ? I am beside myself, I spent a good chunk of my wage savings to buy this dream of mine. ive bought several brand new cars from 7000 to 35000, I have never had one brakedown in its first year never mind its first week. Keep us posted as to what they find. And of course, good luck!
(PS -the majority of members believe what is posted by fellow members. There are of course a select few that are of the mindset if they don't understand something, the OP's grammar is not perfect or some other wild reason then they start calling the OP a troll or worse. There are the other select few that expect the OP to follow up immediately on every response to their post - otherwise its "crickets". I guess they think your whole world is revolving around this forum.) Again, good luck...

Could be the bcm, low speed bus, vcim module, fuse box, inline harness connector. These things send messages constantly and if there's issues with the data lines or a module it can mess with the others. There's also a lot of normal "noises" like relays, hvac doors, etc.
Grounds too, some extra paint, overspray and rust can drops the voltage to where some stuff works and others doesn't.
It always good to go to the dealer with a better understanding of the symptoms and how to replicate errors. Ala, if you state the seat doesn't work and it can't be replicated good luck getting it fixed with GM.
