Let's see your under-hood bling
I'm getting inspired to do some under-the-hood cosmetic touches. I really consider this to be a fine balancing act, as it's very easy to go way over the top in my opinion. I'm trying to formulate a plan that gives a nice pop without looking like I went down the page of a catalogue and ordered one of everything. Looking forward to seeing what others have done with their engine bays....

I added a few things but mostly just painted the plastics. I wanted a really subtle cohesive look, nothing fancy:

I'll ask for advice on this thread. I got real CF plenum cover and fuel rail covers. Now I would like to get:
I found only one vendor (RPI) that lists it on their web site as REAL CF, but they only have one of the above in stock and have no idea if any will ever stock them again. Thanklfully RPIDON told me this before I ordered.
He suggested that I go painted to match body color. I think that would be ok. Not really a fan of hydro carbon since it won't match the real CF there already.
I see now PFYC also has them painted.
But both vendors are 4-6 weeks minimum.
But it is almost $1k for painted and not that much more for the real CF (if it were available).
I am not really a fan of ShowStopper's parts for this.
So my question is, is there a source for just the plain fiberglass parts for the above and I can paint them myself?
I found one vendor that sells them unpainted, but it is only $10 less than the same fiberglass painted parts from other vendors and still takes 4 weeks to ship!
- Engine Brake Booster Cover
- Engine Fuse Box Cover
- Engine Coolant Surge Tank Cover
- Engine Regulator Sensor Cover
- Air Intake Cover
- Brake ECM Controller Cover

Not as much as previous posts but I'm very happy with mine.
