Taking the plunge, will be installing my tire letters tomorrow. Appreciate this thread as it’s easier to decide getting to see others results.

I would do it if Michelin were sponsoring me, or I had a race car. This plus the tow hook fad just isn't for me. It seems to be this kind of thing is what the kids are doing Subiewrx is not far off.

I’m in the like it camp.

For those interested it took about hour per tire, took them off the car to install them. Cleaning the tire took the most time, make sure you have 1/2 gallon acetane on hand.

Agreed. Now he needs rear window louvers and a roof rack. He also forgot the front tow ring and might as well put a tow hitch on the back too. Why stop at tire lettering? haha.

I had the reverb in my 1957 belair. On my 1966 396 S S chevelle, I painted the firestone letters with white modeling paint.

I seem to recall seeing yellow lettering on the factory sponsored C7.R cars. That may just have been for promo pictures though. Do not recall if all the tires are lettered. Either way I am an old guy and like it also.

Some guy actually did install louvers in the "what did you do for your c7 today" thread. To each their own.

I did mine in red. They dirty up quickly though and don’t clean well at all. I’ve tried all the tricks.
