I hope Don isn't driving that sweet ride in the snow,lol! I live in Missouri, we've had some butt *** cold temps and snow so haven't been able to get it out. I've been firing mine up and letting it run every other week. Damn summer tires too don't help.
No, I'm NOT driving it in the bad weather. IT IS KILLING ME! It was up around 50* Thurs. and Friday here in Chicago, but it rained both days. The car has 64 miles on it. She's plugged in under 2 covers. The indoor and the heavy Silverguard outdoor cover in the garage. I really like the convienent pug in in the rear compartment for the Battery Tender. Waaaay Cool.
Yes it is Elkhart Lake Blue. Kind of a co-incidence since I go there every year for the IMSA race and occasionally the Indy Car. Love the color. I searched all around Chicago for the Blue ZO6 2LZ Auto and finally found this in a showroom with 3 miles on it. Did quite well on the deal considering I traded my '05 C6 with 24k on it. Miss my C6, but I'm getting over it.....LOL!
Yeah I know the feeling. I usually can get my cars out in the winter on dry sunny days.This winter has been tough though. If it's not snowing or raining it's so dang cold and they are always dumping a bunch of chemicals on the roads. I got 4 cars stuffed in my garage I can't drive right now.

Just purchased a 2018 C7 Z06. I found a really good deal local to me here in Pittsburgh PA. Anyways its a Admiral blue metallic with a 7MT in ash grey interior. I am not a huge fan of the chrome rims so they will most likely get powder coated to gloss black at some point. Other than that this is a dream come true as I have always wanted one! I sold my evo x a few months ago that I put entirely too much money into and spent the last 6 months to find the perfect car all over the country only to find the lowest possible price on a 2018 that was 10 miles away from me!
Best color for sure, congratulations!! I have the chrome rims and love the way they look. I get compliments on them all the time. I completely understand though if they aren't for you. It's all personal taste. Awesome car!!

@Daniel Hertzberg Congrats on the new Z06. I've been looking for the past couple weeks and I don't remember seeing that one. Is it 1LT? I'm not a big fan of chrome either, but it's not a hard fix. The vented seats are a harder problem to solve it seems.

1LZ package it did not have much other than the chrome wheels I just could not beat the price.
Mine is a 1LZ too. These C7 Z06's come loaded even in the 1LZ. Mine even came with the Performance data and video package and navigation. I think you can't get heated and cooled seats and seat memory, front camera, heated mirrors and a few other minor things. I didn't need any of that stuff, all personal preference for sure. I did add the stage 2 rear spoiler.
The ZO6 is a street legal race car that makes me smile every time I get in it.
The blue, red, and white color combination is the ugliest mismatch on a C7 I have ever seen. The white looks like someone forgot to take off the protective coating. Of course the black wheels top it off as compound ugly.

Yeah, the discounts seem to remain the same between 1, 2 and 3, so you are paying full price for the upgrades. It seems the only one left is a 3LZ, and not really up for paying $10k for a "nicer" interior. I drove a friends 1LZ a couple days ago. It is plenty nice. I just have been set on the vented seats since it's going to live in Phoenix. Black leather and phoenix do not play nice together.

Yeah that's pretty harsh. I dig the red, white and blue combo. I'm not a black wheel guy but I'm not going to sit here and trash you for liking them. It's all personal preference and taste. Damn nice ride either way, Lol!!
