Opinions on Opticoat / CQuartz
Anyone want to chime in on their opinion of Opticoat vs. CQuartz. Ease of application, coverage, durability. Have you put it over XPEL Ultimate?

Are you going to cover your whole car in xpel? If not, then a ceramic coating is worth considering. I have cquartz finest on my whole car (no xpel), and it is very good.

As far as length of time the coating stays on the car, Opti Pro Plus is warrantied for 7 years, Cquartz Finest only for 2 years.
Opti Pro was notorious for its lack of gloss compared to Cquartz Finest even though Opti Pro stayed on for 5 years. However, Pro Plus solves the lack of gloss.
If you are going to partially cover the car with XPEL, I would also add a coating. If the whole car is going to be covered with XPEL, then you might only need a less expensive sealant for gloss. Either way, choose an installer that does surface prep well.
