Coridog1,
Somebody at GM ran to his boss claiming he/she saved them a couple hundred dollars by re-using an existing photo for the catalog. The technical editor who reviewed it probably doesn't own a C7 so he/she looked at it and said "Yup, that's a C7 interior alright."
If you ever get the opportunity to view an original 1969 Corvette shop manual and/or a 1969 Chevrolet Parts Catalog, check out the specifications and parts for a 1969 Special High Performance 370HP, 350 cu. in. Corvette aka, the LT-1. Problem is, they never made any in 1969. The LT-1 was postponed due to labor issues but all the documents were printed in 1968 when they thought the Special High Performance small block was going to be released in '69.
Same thing may have happened with the C7. Someone made a decision to change the interiors, but the catalog was already in print.

Drifting
One reason for a disclaimer. Probably used some stock pictures when they did the brochure.

Le Mans Master
He has been banned from several forums and has had at least one "time-out" from this one. He has PM'd insults to me, and several others I suspect, on many occasions but has PM's turned off so that he can't receive a response.
My guess is he was bullied in school and is now lashing out in the only way he knows how.

Is the fact that there is an error in the 2016 brochure of any real consequence today? The model year is complete. What's the point here? Did you order a Kalahari interior because you loved the look in the brochure, and when it arrived were you devastated beyond belief because the car did not quite match the picture? Are you going to sue GM for false advertising?
Seems like a First World Problem.

I've read your posts and you seem fairly articulate and discerning. You are better than the silly response you gave to my post.

A more glaring error was made on the early '68 brochures. The blue interior spread shot shows the center console with power window controls and on the driver's door panel the window crank is depicted. Don't think GM made any this way. This was corrected on the second printing of '68 brochures.
