Default Modify the microfiber header for EZ Pass?

One thing I do not care for on the C7 is the inability to hide my EZ Pass. On my C6 cars, there was the dark tint on the top 6" of the windshield and this worked well at minimizing the sight of the pass. The C7 has the tint strip but, it ends at the header trim panel.
Has anyone been able to modify the microfiber header panel to be able to mount the EZ Pass undercover?

There have been a few threads about this. I did a quick search and found this one about painting it, I dunno maybe there are some other good ideas in it, I didn't read the whole thing. I'm sure there are more threads out there too. Good luck!

I keep my EzPass in the cubby behind the infotainment screen. As long as it's on the top of the pile of stuff in there, it reads just fine w/o taking it out.

I doubt very seriously that anyone is going down the road saying, "Oh! Look! You can see his EZ-Pass!"

Talk about a non-problem.

Actually, I notice them quite a bit. Even on minivans. I always wondered why they are white. It draws the eye. Same as those horrible VA inspection stickers. Just plain ugly, IMO.

First thing I did when I bought my car and got it home to MD from VA was to remove that eyesore.

If I stuck a giant 3"x6" white plastic sticker on everyone's windshields I bet you naysayers would be the loudest of the bitchers...

I tried plasti-dip for the first time. The EZ Pass looked terrible after it's first use, so I just peeled it off, and started over again. It completely makes that giant white hunk of plastic disappear. Almost like magic!

Get a big pair of fuzzy dice, put it inside one of them, and hang them from the rear-view. No one will notice it then.

It would be a problem if some dip broke into the car to steal it and use it until it is deactivated. I prefer to hide things that low-lifes would steal.

Of the things I worry about, that's not one of them.

Same here. Never believed it would still register but hasn't missed a beat.

I trimmed a strip of blue painter's tape and place it over the EZ Pass registration sticker (for removal if needed) and gave it 3 even coats of matte black Plasti Dip. I then found some 3M heavy duty black velcro (the kind that has black loops and adhesive backing) and mounted it on the passenger side of the windshield next to the mirror. It's invisible to me in the car and you'd be hard-pressed to see it from the exterior looking in.
