Go on or go back? The only way in to see some scenic areas.

Looks pretty shallow. I'd go through it really slow. My C7 is a car, not a garage queen.

Sit back and wait for someone else to go through, and if its not too deep then motor on through.

It looks pretty shallow. I personally wouldn't have hesitated. However, if I couldn't have seen the curb on the left giving me a perception of depth, then I would get out and step in it and then I'd know exactly how deep it is.

As I said I wouldn't have hesitated, but if I wasn't so sure then I would just turn around and not chance it. The old adage "turn around and don't drown" is sage advice.

Had the picture been pouring rain (and I was unfamiliar with the area) I would turn around. You never know when it will turn into a flash flood and you'll be trapped on the other side, or worse yet, float away if it hits while you're on the bridge.

Stuff like that happens often here. You never know if there is a couple deep potholes that got deeper with the water was rushing over it.

Thats why I wait for someone else. Sure you can get out and check but I dont want to get back in my car with muddy wet shoes. My truck or Jeep I wouldnt have even slowed down

Looks OK from the photo. Go slow and stay as close to the left (higher) side as you can.

I would get out and assess it with my feet carefully. Unless I was absolutely certain, I would turn around.

I would have my wife walk ahead. If the water wasn't too deep I would drive through very slowly.

Send a loved one ahead on foot, if they make it, carry on!

But judging from the pic, I would have gone for it, as said, on the left side, slowly.

I have been here before and you either get dry, average flow, which it is in the picture, or turn around time. The water came up to the bottom of the door and you could see the sand/rock particles left behind when door was opened. As for what I did, I went through to get the following pics...

Park at the nature center and begin hike to beginning of the creek.

One of the two places where the water comes up.

and the other...

creating numerous waterfalls throughout the park

swimming area as well

back to car and follow the creek by road

where sulphur spring starts

where natural and sulphur springs come together

heading into the camp grounds I spent every summer as a kid at

and one more shot before heading back home.
