Lexus blue wide body 2014 project
Just finished my Vette project for the most part, got it after the frame was fixed and built it all minus the painting. Was a 2014 salvage car brought back to life from the scrap yard. Started as a manual but now has a fully working A6 auto swap. Full Z06 panels, weapon x hood, carbon roof, z06 sterling wheels. Front frame was fixed and windshield pillar replaced.
Still have a couple issues like the hood is off by a mm in the from but fits decently for an aftermarket unit. Not sure what to do with the side logos as its not a Z06. Also missing a rocker scoop as I screwed up and ordered two driver side ones, take 3 weeks to get one in Canada even though it's made in Canada go figure.
Went with a Lexus tri stage pearl paint, really works in the sunlight.
Before
After, still filthy, needs a good detail

Super, looks awesome.

Impressive. Looks like Admiral Blue in the pics, but I know it's not. That color is great in person and in the sun.

Good job. What are your plans? Keep it?

I hope you saved a lot over paying for a discounted new one. All the best. I just built my wife an art studio and did most of it myself. Spent more than I planned to spend getting it to her satisfaction.

I'm typically not a big fan of blue, but that particular blue looks great.
