2015 3LT Z51 score today
I picked up a 2015 3LT Z51 White and black trim and wheels, 7spd, and 6k miles for 49k. Car is immaculate, good tread on tires. My first C7 and really happy I got the Z51, this car drives like it's on rails.

A good way to buy a C7-6k miles is nothing, provided you did your due diligence on the purchase, and you probably chopped at least 10-15k off the price of a new one. Good luck and enjoy.

Z51
owned a '14 without Z51 for a whole three weeks and then worked my way into a fine deal for a '14 with Z51; one of the best buys and best boxes to check when buying a C7.....

Am I correct in thinking that this is an atypical deal?
A local dealership has a 2015 Z51 2LT 7MT with MSRC and PDR, 10K on the odometer with new tires on the rear for 57K. It's a beauty and is in pretty much new condition. The dealership came down a bit on their asking price, but nothing like the price the OP got. I passed on it and am glad I did if a decent price would be close to the deal the OP got. Thoughts?

Yes it's atypical, but you can come very close to that number if you are patient and willing to work for it. To find a deal like that, you have to be willing to travel and track prices on a spread sheet to collect data and watch for dealers who are stuck with a C7 they want to unload. Traveling within 300 miles from your house is a one day trip so that's the number I used. Decide what options you want, then put them on a header on an Excel spreadsheet. In the columns, start listing cars on Autotrader and Cars.com. You can list in the columns what colors and options each car has. When I finally stopped tracking C7's earlier this year I had tracked over 330 Corvettes. As one sold or fell off of the listing, I moved it to another list with the final asking price. From this list, it was easy to see good prices and which dealers on my list moved used Corvettes quickly (usually due to the best prices). I kept this list up to date three or four times each week. When a certified '14, Z51, 2LT M7 with mag ride and 4200 miles came up in December last year for a little higher than the OP's price, I jumped at it because it was exactly what I wanted at a really good price. But you have to be willing to put some time into it.

^^^^ Great advice! I have done the exact same thing for the last two Vettes I have bought. I went further out than you though since I live in a warm state, my best luck comes from finding them in cold weather states and dealers are just sitting on them and will unload at a huge discount. I bought my 2014 Z51 3LT w/ magnetic ride, nav, just about every option available and the exact color combo I wanted a year and a half ago, certified warranty, 2800 miles on it for $60k. Buyer paid $78k for it a year earlier. You just have to be patient but you can get a great deal on a like new car and save thousands!
