Road trip with new Corvette
Took delivery of my 2016 A8 Z51 3LT Long Beach Red Corvette today.
My adventure started with a flight from seattle to Billings MT late on labor day. Took delivery today and drove from Billings MT to Missoula MT where I had the first oil change done. I had planned to continue on, but the heavy rain made me decide to sleep the night and finish tomorrow.
I used Manual Mode most of way alternating between 6, 7, and 8 Speed. Love the fact that most of the way was 80 MPH speed limit which made for a fantastic day of driving.
Looking forward to tomorrow
Taylor

Congrats on that new beaut! That is the best red, ever.
I don't have any helpful hints except to tell you to take off the nose wart, ASAP! It will cause a line of wear in the clear coat even after a few hundred miles.
I found out the hard way and had to buff it out after less than 500 miles.

Congrats. I just went through their on Monday. Missed the rain. BTW, I90 from Minnesota to Idaho is mostly 80 mph. I went 90 to 110 most of the way.
Now that your over 500 miles you can start opening it up. It's probably good for it to slow down to 50 and drag race to 100+.

Wish I could take the license plate off. Required by Washington state

Awesome way to start out your Corvette experience ! The fun is just starting. Only my opinion but the aero plate fits in much better appearance wise. Hopefully yours is still in the back area.

Take a tip from the folks at Spring Mountain, use weather mode in the rain.
