C7 Z51 Gross Vehicle Weight
My build sheet says my 2016 C7 Z51 gross vehicle weight is 1807!!!
WOW! Is this correct? Thought my C6 weighed 3200 LBS!

Gross vehicle weight is the max weight rating (car + passengers + cargo + fuel and fluids). Empty weight is what is usually quoted in car specs, which doesn't even include fuel and fluids.

^^^^ Precisely.
As a Class C RVer, we have to watch that # closely, although many don't.

Yes, 1807kg is 3984 lbs. That's about right for adding two passengers plus fuel and luggage. A couple of guys, and a full tank of fuel gets you close to max gross weight.
I often weigh my cars on a drive-on scale available at truck stops. Try it sometimes, it's rather enlightening. I haven't weighed my C7 yet.

Actually it's 3983.75. Siri told me, and I properly rounded up.
While your build sheet is quoting max gross weight, most of the quoted specs in car mags, etc. are empty weight, which is 3444 lbs. in the case of the C7 Z51. That doesn't even include fuel, which at 6 lbs. per gallon, a full tank weighs an extra 111 lbs.
