Did You Buy a New or Used C7 (Poll)?

Bought used with CPO. The car was two months into warranty so I got the balance plus one more year and another free oil change due to the CPO. The car had 700 miles on the ODO and was exactly as I wanted except for the battery tender (which I am glad now that I have it) and had the 500 mile oil change completed. So, in summary, a 2016 Z51, 8spd, yellow calipers, chrome wheels, black/black coupe with 46 month warranty and three more oil changes all with a SIZEABLE discount. I am a happy camper!!!

I searched the used market high and low for months waiting to find the exact car I wanted at a good price. I think my persistence paid off. Found a 2015 with all the options I wanted with a little over 2K miles on it for $55. Same exact car I looked at a year earlier would have cost me $78. Don't think you could do much better than that... Although the dealership did get the last laugh. They sold me on TheftPatrol, which in my excitement I neglected to remember that the dang car has OnStar. But oh well, Still a good deal in my opinion.

C7 of Year Finalist (performance mods) 2019
Bought mine from dealer stock. I was very fortunate to find the exact optioned car I wanted at the end of the 2015 model year at 12% discount. I usualy buy used and let the original buyer take the depreciation hit, but I couldn't wait to get my hands on a c7.

My wife told me to order any corvette that I wanted and go to bowling green ,she said to build your Zo6 motor just do it all. Well I told her thank you but all I want is a torch red coupe automatic. She found one at a dealer about 25 miles from us and I bought it. It had 7 miles on it.

When I sold my '05 I was looking for a GS with 3LT and in Blue...looked for months nationwide to find one. My wife got so frustrated trying to find the right one, that she TOLD me just go order a new one with everything you want, man I love her! So glad I did, the C7 is just a beast.

This is my first vette and first new car. Everyone should experience a virgin car at least once in their life. Especially a vette with its million options.

Used, not certified.
I wanted a Premiere Edition because I knew exactly which features it came with (all of them) and I wanted to make a lot more power, something I wouldn't feel comfortable doing with a new purchase with a new warranty.

Stole one then got caught...skipped bail and bought a factory ordered one. Still on the lam. Doing a 2016 version of Vanishing Point with hopefully a better ending.

Both!
Had a '15 Z06 built for me when the '13 427 motor blew up - sold that one - missed it, so I bought a used '14 Z51. (FYI - that's NOT my garage that the Z06 is sitting in - that is where the dealer "hid" it right after it was delivered so that no one would go poking around!)

I was able to add the ZF1 option to my 2014 order on June 26th (last concensus for 2014) and I got it.
Not many LRG ZF1's in existence. Am told in the single digits.

Nothing lowly about a beautiful C5. Many of the current C7 owners had one. It's an exceptional sports car and the current prices make it one of the best Corvette buys out there in my opinion. Most would agree they have fond memories of the C5. It took me a month to get over letting go of the C5 while I had the 2014, Z51 parked in the garage.

Just yesterday, we were walking out the parking lot where my wife's C5 was sitting. I said "dang, that's sure pretty sittin there, too bad we have to trade it for a C7"
she just turned her head toward me and said "JERK"
she loves her car, but is a little conflicted to get rid of it.

These are incredible sports cars in every sense of the word, both in style and performance.
She will love you for forever for buying the C7.
