Default Stage 3 lip winglets

Hi,

Does anybody have pics of a non Z06/GS with a stage 3 lip and winglets? I can't find any good pics anywhere. I want to see if it looks weird without the Z06 side spats and wider stance. Really on the fence between stage 2 and stage 3.

thank you.

the APR Corvette has them all.

I believe the Torch Red thread has a coupe with them as well if my memory serves me correctly.

What's your honest opinion on this?

It a lot cheaper than everything else. I don't care that it is just bare plastic and not painted.

I have a friend that added stage 3 winglets to his Z06. Haven't seen them on a GS. I have Stage 2 on my GS and they look great.

Honestly, I spent 3K on the stage 2 package for my GS. Probably would have been better off buying something cheaper because I know I will eventually crack or chip one of them.

The only thing is the lip doesn't come with pre drilled holes and I'm trying to think of a way to get everything lined up to drill holes?

You could probably get a garage or dealer to do it for you. Drilling was the only thing I didn't feel comfortable with.

I'm comfortable drilling holes in the lip, I'm stuck on how to get the lip lined up with screws under the front bumper cover, so I can drill the lip in the correct places.

You could use a bunch of c-clamps. HD has some of the light grip, quick release variety that simply hold parts together. It'll be frustrating but doable.

I too bought the expensive carbon versions from GM. Great quality and extremely strong.

Light touch with a center punch should allow you to drill without wandering all over the place with your drill bit. Also, do not use a regular drill bit. Bits for drilling plastic are tapered. You can get them at stores like TAP plastics. I've never looked for them anyplace else. I would imagine that they are available at other places hardware stores.
