First trip to the Dragon.... Wow!
Even though its only a little over an hour from my house I had never been to the Dragon until Saturday. The wife and I went and had an absolute blast. Had the top on for the outward trip and took it off for the trip back across. The leaves were not quite at full peak but close enough to make it a beautiful day. Most fun driving a car Ive ever had. It was crowded but still enough room to get after it some. After 2 trips on the Dragon we took the Foothills Parkway over to Townsend and then took Wears Valley Rd over to Pigeon Forge for some shopping and dinner.

Melting Slicks
My wife & I did it a few years ago with my C6 and enjoyed it. We went with a group of about 25 from the Corvette Museum. The only issue was the motorcycles that you were always concerned about crossing the center line as they pushed the envelope. I liked the idea of all the photographers taking photos-we bought several. Glad you enjoyed it!

We are very fortunate to live so close to a road people come from all over the world to travel. Live in Loudon Tn

I'm jealous of you guys who are within reaching distance of the Dragon.....enjoy a run for me, please!

The guy in front of the bike recording the video was a horrible rider. Crossed the yellow line in some corners, and struggled with speed management and setting up a good trajectory through most. This is what scares me on a lot of the popular roads like tail of the dragon: coming around a blind corner only to find a someone on my side of the road!
