Recall to reprogram SDM-please help....
When I have the SDM software update will this change any of my tune on my ECM? I've had ARH longtubes, CAI, and a tune on my car. I was just worried that the SDM software update will hurt my performance tune. Thanks for your time and replies..

can you ask the tuner to remove it for the update then reinstall?

SharkGrayStingray, The update will reprogram the SDM and I'm wondering if that will affect my tune on the ECM.. You are right to suggest to remove the tune then reinstall after SDM update. The only problem with that is I'd be running the car on the lean-side for about 70 miles..Thank you for your reply..

It won't reprogram the ECM, it's a seperate module that programs seperately. However if they do a full scan and find out your ECM has a different calibration then stock that could lead to other problems with that dealership depending on how they deal with that. Likely that would only be the case if there was a problem with the drivetrain, etc, just a heads up.
