Documentation fee, cost of plates in the buyer's state. All that is now done at the selling dealership to prevent fraud.

no where in that Criswell ad does it state the cars mileage. I'm always leary about deals like this that are too-good-to-be-true. The term "new" doesn't always have the same meaning.
If it's anything other than 10-20 miles, then it's a used car to me (I don't care if it's labeled a "demo"... or that the dealership owner drove it through a couple of parades) ... and $48k isn't such a great deal then IMO.

Mike @ Criswell Chevrolet, is good as gold.
IF, the C7 has the options you want, then you're going to be treated right by the Criswell Chevrolet Dealership.

MikeyTX,
I think what they're doing is able to shoot the consumer perhaps a remarkable low-price, then the Dealer Doc fees becomes their actual profit center / sales commission for the sales rep.
I bought a Mercedes-Benz 3 years ago from Tom Benson's
MB dealer in San Antonio, Texas, and I plumb forgot about agreeing on an "out-the-door price" beforehand! Thankfully, it was only $125.00, but after you think you've agreed on a price, they kinda use it as a gotcha!
Since then, you guys have retrained me to not forget about DOC FEES! The buyers' buzz phrase is: "out-the-door." That means the whole enchilada!

"Freight" is any cost involved with having the car shipped from the dealership to wherever the buyer wants it delivered. It's not the "Destination" charge that shows up on the window sticker. I'd be very surprised if "Destination" wasn't included in the advertised price.

I emailed the great dealer, Criswell, for all pertinent information: miles on the odometer, and best "out the door" price.
This car is not my 1st preference, I would prefer a different color, mag ride, and a 2017. But for $49,000, who could complain?

Ha! As you should have already seen, there are plenty of people to complain around here... Always. . Good luck on your new vette purchase!

I was speaking of freight added on top of everything else. From what I was told this is in addition to the destination charge on the sticker. This was on a vehicle already discounted so it's hard to say if it was discounted and then added back however I understood that it is added to all of the vehicles.
The destination charge on the sticker covers shipping from the plant in Bowling Green to Criswell; it doesn't cover getting the car from Criswell to the buyer's location somewhere else in the country. A customer buying at Criswell and taking delivery at the dealership does not incur a separate freight charge.
