Need help from someone who installed the "GM" Z06 Stage 1 Front Splitter
I am interested in purchasing the GM Z06 Stage 1 Front Splitter but not sure if I can go up my driveway with it installed.
I have a very steep driveway so the transition from the sidewalk to the driveway results in scraping the air dams. Same happens even taking the driveway at multiple angles.
So I need your help. With the car on level ground I need someone to measure the distance from (splitter's lowest point) the bottom of the splitter to the ground.

On my car which is lowered all the way on stock bolts it's about 4 3/4" (maybe a little higher) to the bottom edge of the tip of the splitter which looks like the lowest point to me:

My stock Stingray front end clearance with stage 1 splitter is a full 6". Will post photo when I get to my laptop.

Thank you all for the fast response and measurements. It helped.
Looks like a few of you painted the splitter while others left it unpainted. I'm leaning towards unpainted because it will likely scrap against something sooner than later.

My splitter is 5 inches above a flat floor. Stock ride height.
Paint it if you like painted splitters. I've painted mine twice. I crunched it once. Did you know you can reshape minor damage with a heat gun?
As for scraping, yeah they sometimes scrape a little. But they scrape on the bottom and you can't see it unless you crawl on the ground. If you manage to scrape the top you're likely going to do something about it anyway, painted or plain. A scape is going to bug the crap out of you.
Bottom line is please yourself. It's your baby.

My driveway has a slope and I scrape my Z06 splitter every time on the transition, Every once in a while if I hit it at the right angle I can get it not to scrape but I live with it. Can't see any damage from looking at the car without being on your hands and knees, every once in a while I have to pull plastic shreds off of it. No big deal :P

Can't imagine how pissed I'd have been with an actual carbon fiber piece there LOL.
EDIT:
I also bumped it into a perfectly-high parking stop one time and the vinyl on the tip lifted. Sanded it down underneath and just gorilla-glued that section back down. No one can tell it's been repaired hehe.

Did you guys use the existing attach points to mount the splitter or did you add a few rivets in addition to the existing mounting points?
I prefer not to add rivets just in case I need to remove the splitter at some point.

Bought smallest removable plastic rivets could find but required a much larger hole than small aluminum rivet, so riveted.
If needed easy to remove by grinding aluminum rivet head as it only marks washer.

Installed the 10 rivets that came with front splitter 22922352 in addition to using the screws that were in place on the vehicle. The 10 rivets did need a 3/16 (5mm) hole drilled. They provide additional retention force to the screws. If you need to remove the rivets down the road, easy to drill them out especially since the supplied ones are aluminum.

I used plastic rivets (scrivets) along with the factory screws. I've removed my splitter twice already, for repair and paint. Some hate to drill holes in the bumper cover but I figure I'll always have a front splitter so no one will ever see unused holes in the body.
