Default Corvette Museum delivery pays tribute to famous Corvette racer

I had an amazing opportunity to assist a customer in purchasing their new 2017 Corvette Grand Sport. I also learned a lot about Dave MacDonald, a piece of Corvette history that is not talked about enough. If interested, please read my blog, I hope you enjoy it and learn a little about Dave as well!

Great story Nate....thanks for posting. I'm old enough that I remember Dave McDonald and his racing career.....and I remember that tragic day at Indy...it was awful! Glad his brother honored Dave the way that he did. I'm sure Dave's spirit is in that beautiful Grand Sport.

I don't remember all of MacDonald's racing career but I knew he drove Corvettes and Cobras. And was a helluva driver. I also remember he was involved in the Eddie Sachs racing death at Indy. Nice to hear his brother has a Corvette.

Thanks all! Dave has got to be one of the "coolest" guys around. Could you imagine getting a call from Zora to pick up your new Corvette? Especially at 25/26 years old?!

*phone rings* "hello?"
"Hey Dave, this is your pal, Zora. Your car is ready, I'm sending a plane to come get you".

OP, Use the "market place" tab at the top of the page, there are many reliable vendors on that list, good luck!
