Well damn, sorry to hear that. Although if that happened to me i'd have a custom made steering wheel clutch, i dont know anything about them or where to go to get one made for your car but i saw an article once of a miata that had all hand controls and still retained a manual transmission.

As for the manual hand clutch: I looked into a duck clutch, but I don't think it would replace a foot operated clutch in a way to give me the experience I've been used to. Same goes for outfitting a motorcycle with a Kliktronic.

You guys are babies...
I have the MGoogle (highest number of gears before infinity). I shift 17 times before I get out of my driveway. Because I'm an enthusiast. And a man. And cooler than all of you. And better looking. Etc.

They just release the MGoogle+. It offers three additional gears after reaching infinity.

Man, now THAT sucks. Now I have to go guy a new car. I was wondering why my wife wouldn't talk to me....now I know....she knows about the MGoogle+. It's a wonder she hasn't left me.

First Vette, not first sports car. While I appreciate the capabilities of the A8, I like the sense of connectedness that a manual provides.
Edit- answer is M7

The only regret I have about buying my A8 is that all the M7 guys think I'm old and boring and not an "enthusiast".
I'm not old, I track my car (which is more than most M7 drivers can say) and I am an enthusiast.
I've had many cars and all of them were manual, driving a manual in traffic on the hills of San Francisco will eventually eat away at your soul (and your clutch). I went with an A8.
