Default Anyone here have experience in product to change LED's in headlamps?

I know it requires removing headlamps and separating the lens.

If you did it, what was the cost and time to do it?

Also, any experience with the new color changing wifi led bulbs you can control with an app?

I don't know about separating and replacing drl's on these headlamps, but I can say that I really like the app controlled led's that xkglow makes. I put a two zone system in the cockpit and love it, they work really well:

The lens is glued to the housing with 2 part polyurethane adhesive. The lens has a tongue that fits into a channel in the housing, and the 2 part PU fills up the channel.
This will be very difficult to sewith out damage.

Google headlight mods from the Camaro5 forum, a bunch of people did this type of mod with varying results. You can check the C6 forum too.

I did this on my Challenger with halos by actually cutting the housing open and resealing them. The biggest downside I had was there were wires everywhere that I had to hide. I would be wary to do it on my Vette, but a headlight is just a headlight. From what I understand this is even easier than doing the halos because there's no mounting required it is just new circuit boards.
