Shows you what a home run C7's styling is
I had the G/S out for an errand on Sunday and at a busy intersection stop light A Guy actually got out of his car and knocked on my passenger window to tell me how beautiful the car is. Dam that was a real reality check on how I take to much for granted sometimes. Thanks to Ed Welburn for over seeing the design of this beast. For years to come like the C2 the C7 I feel will go down in history as a highly desirable Corvette generation to own and collect.

The C7 is a home run.
The engineering, fit and finish, interior layout, devilishly haughty exterior style, bucket loads of useful creature comforts, more ***** and functional indicators than an F-18 (), performance that will put your honey's ovaries in her throat, an intoxicating, addictive exhaust note, all at a price the little guy can handle.
What's not to like.
I love Vettes. They hold a special place in my heart. Old Vettes, new Vettes, but especially the old ones; you know, the ones that drive like a 60s school bus. Each generation is uniquely different. But, I'll tell ya one thing, in my fifty plus years of owning C1s, C2s including several big blocks, C3's including an LT-1 AC car, the C7 is the hands down best overall. JMO

Lots of trolls try to hijack threads. I get tons of compliments even from Mustang owners. The C7 is a very striking design sports car that has room for luggage so we can tour.

Up here, most of the admiring comments go to drivers of huge pickup trucks. I'm the only Vette in the town, to the best of my knowledge.
Imagine my surprise when a woman in a brand new Dodge pickup, fully kitted out with the big wheels, giant diesel motor, etc, etc, rolled down her window and yelled down to me, "That's the prettiest car I've ever seen."
That was nice.

No.
Heard of it, but never seen it. I've been over every square inch of my Torch Red and see no issues whatsoever. No orange peel. No waves. The surface is like glass. Of course, you have to take care of it...I've been using Zaino, but recently switched to Wolfgang Uber Ceramic, which I'm very happy with (thogh expensive)
I see no problems in any of three dimensions. I don't think you could even measure a difference in gap width they are so close. Looking down the sides there are no panels that stick out in either direction. I just don't see a problem myself.
Huh? This car has way more power than I can use. I've scared myself a few times. I know the need for "More Powah!" is always there for some folks, but I have quite enough. Thanks.
Heard about 'em, but has never happened to me. Of course, I don't beat my car either.
Whatever that means. I am sorry for your loss. Maybe I just got lucky.
Poor paint
panels not aligned
too much power loss
overheat issues
etc.

There always has to be a sour apple in the group......SMH. I'm sure there is a Prius in your immediate future.
Anyway, when I first saw a side shot of the C7 in January 2013, I thought it looked just like the Ferrari F12 Berlinetta, which is not a bad thing at all.

I'm 29 years old and I have had a torch red Z51 for 3 weeks. Gotten 5-6 chicks numbers completely thanks to the car. I've had people come take pictures and ask me everything about the car. It's almost an every day occurance.
It's a car that when I get out and start walking to the grocery store, I turn and stare at my own car like 3 times before walking in. Looks like an exotic and performs like a beast. I never would have considered a vette before even though I respected what they were. When the C7 came out, I knew I was going to buy one one day...

At stop lights, cruising down the road, parked along the scenic waterfront, parked at the post office, several people have waved, taken photos and videos, posed in front of, and complimented me on my Laguna Blue. And that was the first week I had it!

went to Gibson's steakhouse last weekend for dinner. a very high end restaurant with expensive cars all around. Asked the valet to not park in the garage and he said no problem and parked it just outside the place where there is room for 4 cars. Gave him a nice tip. Walked by the door on the way to the restroom and saw a guy taking a picture of his wife/girlfriend standing next to the vette. This car has that wow factor that just makes it the best looking vette ever

I get compliments on the looks of my Stingray every time I take it out. "That is fecking beautiful!" is not uncommon. Next to the looks, the sound of the NPP at start up gets a lot of thumbs up also.
