Had mine painted Carbon Flash.....No scrapes but did get a stone chip which I patched with a Carbon Flash Paint Pen....Unless you know EXACTLY where it is you would not notice it...

Painting is fine. If any rock chips happen, you can buy the OEM touch up paint pen for like 12$ from Trunk Monkey Vendor

Carbon Flash matches your grill. Also hides minor spots and rock chips better as Carbon Flash naturally has little "specs" in it. This is probably the "safer" option.

Time to flip a coin; they'll both look great. I'd likely pick the one that better withstands pits/ chips/ etc.

Went with painted signature series splitter, NRB, and love it.

I left mine raw for two reasons. 1) comes from the factory that way. 2) Its a 100 part if it gets chewed up I don't have to deal with re-prepping the new one.
BUT if I do paint I would wrap it so you don't have to worry about chips.

Is the spoiler Carbon flash on a black car? I would think it would be the same black as the car unless op opted for Carbon flash package.

Happened last Winter. Stripped the CF paint off this past Spring and applied a Back to Black type compound and that is the way will stay.

Unfortunately, this is what mine looks like. The former owner painted it, I'm guessing, and now the paint is peeling off.
What does a "plain" black splitter cost?

I really wanted to paint mine but I decided not to do it when I noticed scrubbing marks on the bottom edge of it in some places. I'm leaving mine plain black plastic.
