I have used the same California Duster for 25 years. It really does a better job the longer you use it. Does a great job on my Z.

I use a waffle weave towel called "dry me a river". You can google it and see what they say. Tom

As far as removing dust, a California duster (don't buy a Chinese copy) is your best friend. Been useing them for 40 years.

Any specific recommendations?
California car cover has great micro fiber towels . I ordered six from them and my wife washed and dried them before I used them . There was no lint in the dryer filter after drying !

I too started out buying the discount microfiber towels. I believe it was Glen who recommended "microfibertech.com. I have since purchased lots of towels from this site. GREAT quality and wholesale prices.

Another suggestion, don't wash your microfiber towels with regular cotton "bath" towels.

Plan to pay 3-4 bucks per towel. Get AT LEAST 10...,,And a Korean Weave is 20- totally diff type of towel just for drying , get 2......

Micro fiber tech is who supplies most of the other houses so you can go directly to them and elim a lot of vendors...

don't go cheap on your towels, they're the fundamental center of all detailing.

you've heard me say it 100 times, but good tools ......never mind the magic whizbang product

tools make the gloss

Glen you're saying that company supply's most other sites? Their towels look like they are made in China unless I'm missing something. I guess it's a personal thing but I would never use anything but South Korean. And yes I can tell the difference.

I never said they supply everywhere… I buy the 560 GSM town and I found it works perfect for general detailing. I have no idea if they're Korean or Chinese they just work and yours may work just as well or better… OK with me I just know that anything they sell that's between three and four dollars is better than the Cosco stuff up top

The Rag Company was recommended to me. I got one of their variety kits for $42 after a 15% new customer coupon code. Most of it is korean (the good stuff).
