HI Elmer, They are two different names for the same thing. If you car is equipped with it the exhaust tone can change whether the car or you determine it. It has been around for a long time, The earliest I have known about it was in 1970 there was an option for it on the Pontiac GTO. What we are offering here is a different way other than the factory way for you to control the exhaust sound on your C7 Corvette. By a push of a button you can have the exhaust system loud all the time and with a push of the button it will go back to stock operation.

Actually, I believe this does not work the same as the original Mild2Wild.

The original Mild2Wild, if I recall correctly, allowed one to force the valves open or closed at all times.

This device appears to not be able to force the valves closed at all times. It will choose between valves open all the time or valves controlled by computer (which is not valves closed all the time).

Details here from a year ago, not sure why it was never made a sticky:

Why would I need this if I have an NPP system that I can control from my C7 settings????

Read the post link. The C7 settings will not allow NPP valves to stay open at all times, especially at lower RPM settings (even in Track mode).

There is no way the C7 settings will allow NPP valves to open at idle and lower RPM settings. The fuse remote circuit will allow it.

This installs in the fuse box located under the hood, you remove the fuse and install the new bypass fuse link. Very simple installation. Thanks, Don

The c6 exhaust NPP valves where operated by vacuum assist, when the vacuum was taken away the valves would open, when the vacuum came back the valves closes. the C7 Valves are electric motors, they are either open under full throttle / above 3500 rpm or opens as a percentage that is controlled by your driver setting ****. The Mild2Wild allows you to OPEN the valves all the time so you can have fun at light throttle or Full throttle, while idling or just cruising down the road. You want the system to go back to stock you press the button again and it puts it back to the stock setting.

So this will not work for those looking to retrofit NPP exhaust on their non NPP C7 to control the valves.. bummer.

Good, and if you can set it up to work via the Homelink, if you have that, that would be even better.

Here is a set of the instructions we will also be making a video shortly of the installation process. This is one of the easier things to install on a C7 Corvette. If you have any questions you can reach me at 888-257-8515 ext 2. Thanks, Don
