What temp do you Convertible owners go top down??
OK, I am a ragtop fanatic but am not lucky enough to live in a warmer climate . . . I was just wondering when you other fanatics put the top up? For me it's when the temp in the 50s . . . kind of cool . . .
By the way, I forgot to indicate in the poll that I meant 70 degrees, not 70 MPH, etc. Doh!

My vert never goes anywhere with the top up....unless it starts raining while I'm out for a ride.

It's not a matter of temperature; it's a matter of precipitation.

I don't normally put the top down until the temperature is 75 degrees or warmer. Mid summer when temperatures are way up in the nineties, not unusual for me to drive top down air conditioner/cooling seats on. I love summer!

Wow, a few brave souls out there. With my first vert (Audi tt) I was so excited I would drop the top in the mid 40s. Now it's more like mid 50s. My last vert had a neck warmer which was pretty fun. But on a nice day my top is up and down 3 times--to work, lunch, home!

I didn't vote in the poll since I don't have vert, but I don't put my targa top back on unless it gets below 65 degrees. I love topless driving IMO it really makes the experience of owning this car that much better.

I find I put the top up when the temp falls below 66 in the daytime with the sun out, and at night when it falls below 75. Ideal top down driving for me is 83.

I do agree that there is a sweet spot between mid 70 s to lower 80s. Over 90 I might run the air or give in and put the top up. . ..

You can drive around all day in the rain with the top down and not get wet. You just can't slow down. Never slow down in a cloudburst! I made that mistake once. Only once.

I responded with 50, but I live in AZ so wintertime is perfect top down time. I have the top down from 100 to 50. Above 100 is pretty hot down here even with AC and vented seats.

Mine goes down around 60 even if I have to wear a sweatshirt.
