1:30am 2017 C7 started on OWN
There I am sound asleep in bed and my 2017 starts ON IT's OWN! Not once but twice!!! Thoughts?

You've first gotta check if you're inadvertently starting the car remotely - somehow.

Seriously, that's some scary stuff right there. People have died when sleeping above their garage from an idling car.
Really like to find out what the heck is going on in this case!

Mystery solved!! And it's a funny one! My daughter was a work tonight at our local hospital, when she left work @ 1:30am this morning she used her phone app to remote start what she thought was her Traverse in the hospital parking lot. Oh no! Yep she has my car on her app too and she started the Corvette instead which was some 20 miles away!
She just got home and saw our lights on (she lives across the street) and she called to see why we were up @ 2:20AM! I told her and she said.......I wondered why my car wasn't warm when I got in it". Damn kids!

I'm glad you figured it out. Potentially pretty scary stuff, but good for a Monday morning laugh since no harm was done.
I guess it's situations like this is why the car turns off after ten minutes.

Glad you figured it out, however, there have been a number of Toyota and Lexus thefts here in the SF Bay Area due to d-bags hacking into the the car's security/key fob then taking off with the car.
