I gotta say Car Guy 11 has kinda grown on me. I wasn't enamored with his first coupe of videos, but now I look forward to them. He's got an unassuming calm manner and a soothing voice and explains just one thing at a time, takes a couple of minutes. His advice is always practical rather than theoretical. Good job and thanks.

I really appreciate the support man!!! I try to keep my videos to the point and not waste anyone's time with fluff. Hope all enjoy them!

Just started watching it, I will subscribe.

Question: How do you clean the ball?

These work good. Just spray it on, let it soak for a few minutes, and wash it off. Then use the conditioner.

Thanks for the video. I hope the ball is better than the Mother's Power Cone. I purchased and used the cone 3 times and it is shot. Expensive too! Here is what it looks like. Ouch!

I have both the cone and the mini ball. I wrap them in T shirt strips, so I don't have to clean them. Works great and saves time, effort, and the foam from wear.

I also use clean strips on the ball/cone to do the polishing/wiping off of polish instead of having to wipe by hand.

My cone is 4 years old and still looks new....I use with Borla polish. Clean in a bucket with tide.

I just wipe the exhaust residue off. Anything more is just a waste of time as the high shine is dulled the first time the engine starts even before the car ever leaves the garage.

To help in cleaning the ball afterwards, I use a water based product like Meguiars 105 heavy cut polish. Take a small pail with water/detergent in it and spin it with the cordless drill on the sides of the pail. Change the water a few times and within 2 minutes it's clean and drying.

I've used all of the above. Not sure where I bought this one, which is a wool ball attachment for your drill, as they all are but it seemed to work better.

I clean mine with Mineral Spirits and then a quick wash with Dawn. Looks good as new

Wow, that's a surprise Joe. I'm using my cone for over a year now, almost solely on the exhaust, and it still looks like new.

This thread is meant to be a joke, right?

You guys have WAY too much time on your hands. Exhaust systems are meant to be heard. Not seen.

That's not an ice cream cone, you're not supposed to eat it...
