C7 Z06 cyl misfire issues
hi guys ive purchased a 2014 c7 z06 abt a month ago the car was bought first on December 2015 now has 6k miles and I had to take it for warranty due to a cylinder misfire (#6 cyl dead) have any of you have had the same problem, cars been at the dealer now for 3 days last thing they told me the computer showed injector? wtf? with just 6k miles, and if its an injector why takes so long to change could it be that its engine damage internally like a rocker arm or a rings, thanks for any input this my first corvette ever (first gm car ever) and I don't know if I made a good choice now thanks...

Probably what is taking so long at the dealers, is that they have never seen a 2014 Z06 before.

Bad choice. You would have been better off getting a Z51, and spending some of the savings on remedial English lessons. When you write like that, people treat you like an uneducated bozo instead of answering your question.

im sorry if my English writing or speaking don't meet your expectations, I think im doing ok for only been in this country 10 years, and no, i never went to college either, but anyways the car its a 2015 z06. I called the dealer yesterday again and they still were working on it, I did research online before I bought the car and they said nothing but good stuff abt it, anyways I will update when they finish with the car incase someone is going trough the same issues

You'll be fine. Gm will fix it and it'll be as good as new. Likely an anomaly with your car, I don't believe this to be a common issue.
Don't worry about your writing or level of education. If you're rocking a z06, you are doing something right!

Actually, your English is better than at least 50% of the posters on this site. And I don't think Bill Gates has a college degree, either.
The injectors are more difficilt to get to than on previous engines and requires removing some parts, but it doesn't require engine disassembly other than the intake manifold I'm pretty sure, so it shouldn't be that big of a job for even an average dealer mechanic.

Hi tere guys, first off thank you guys for your reply, ok so I went last Saturday personally to the dealer and apparently the car had "debris build up on injector 6" that's what caused the misfire and the dealer said they were going to replace injectors in the whole right bank, they ordered the injectors and they are coming tomorrow Tuesday from Michigan so by this Wednesday the car is ready with no cost to me and they gave me a loaner that i been driving, i guess its all good and like z06 1of38 and stevebz06 said and i should be good to go by Wednesday, i will update when i get my car back and let you guys know how it behaves.

ok I got the car back few weeks ago all good they replaced all 4 injectors in the right bank and car been working fine, they took too long cuz they ordered the injectors and when they arrived they realized they didn't ordered the seals so I had to wait for that too, they gave me a loaner plus I paid no money whatsoever so I guess everything went well, thanks for your reply guys

aside from the glaring fact that you say it's a '14, a '15 (let's assume) with only 6k miles on it....seems like the previous owner ditched it for a reason. Regardless, it should be covered under warranty.
Edit: I just read your post then replied, I didn't read the whole thread (I don't do that much before I reply), saw that you got everything worked out including knowing what year your car really is.
