I'll probably be ordering one of these but wondering if there could be a design that would angle the phone so it could be used while it was in there. Thinking you could drop the display down and use the device that is stored in there horizontally to use Waze. Hmm, thinking now an iPad mini might fit in there pretty well too...

Thanks for the idea - I saw a homemade set up some one put in there
on an FI car so they could monitor a bunch of functions in real time,

Will this fit in my '15 Tahoe? If you don't know, I can measure the two spaces to compare, but won't be able to get to it until next week...

I've sold several to Tahoe owners. 4 or 5...

Each promised to reply...lol, but none did. I feel pretty confident,
if there where and issue, we would have heard by now.

I'd say you are good to go...If for some strange reason it does not
work out, I'll send you a return label, no charge...

Then tell all your Tahoe Buddies

Regards
Chip

I bought one by mistake for a Tahoe that was too big for a C7. The Tahoe bin is deeper. I gave it to a friend who has one and reordered the correct one for the Corvette. So yes, the Corvette one should fit a Tahoe, but it will be set back in the bin area.

I don't understand this seat belt guide. When I picked up my car the belts were not in the guides at the top of the seats. I never gave it much thought as they work just fine. After reading this post I decided to try and put the belt in the guide. Maybe I never had it in right but my belt never worked right. I gave up trying to put the belt in the slot and I use it without. The manual says the guide is for children and small adults.

After using the shoulder harness outside of the guides, wait until you see how quickly your door panels get chewed up by the metal buckle hitting them if you just release and let go. When I bought my CPO, that was the only damage I could find on the car.

The previous owner obviously just hit the release button and let it fly. I was able to dye the dings black again, so they are largely invisible now.

I'm 6'2" and don't find the belt as comfortable outside of the guide, so the manual is wrong in my opinion. However, I could never keep them in the guide, so I purchased the Sandy Eggo Design belt retainers.

Yes, they are pricey considering they are just two pieces of plastic, but those two pieces of plastic match the rest of harness holder and are a lot more attractive than electrical tape or shrink tubing in a conspicuously visible place.

Thanks for the post

Just would like to point out that it is not just a piece of plastic.

It's is researched. trialed, CAD Designed piece of plastic

Got to account for the design concept, development, mock-up, CAD,
testing, Re-CAD, second mock-up, mass production upfront cash outlay
and packaging...

Pretty sure it will break even some time in 2019

Regards
Chip

Yep, folks seem to think all these designs just get whipped up in someone's garage w/ no cash outlay. A lot goes into the mass production of any part w/ consistent quality.

Thanks for the info.

I must not be putting belt in guide properly . I will goof around with it.
