EXTREME loss of traction after encounter with delivery truck!!!
As the title states, I was just sitting at home minding my own business when all
of the sudden I hear this delivery truck pull up outside close to my Corvette
The delivery driver wheels out this big old pallet wrapped in black plastic
I unwrap it only to find two giant boxes marked Edelbrock on them
Behind door number one...
Behind door number two...
And finally, behind door number three!!!
So, this past weekend the teardown and install began...
Out with the old and in with the new
Then came the tune...
I am happy to report that I dyno'd at 570 on 91 octane with #6510 plugs. No other mods!!!

It is super smooth. Better than stock, actually. And, the throttle response is amazing.
STEALTH mode is high-larious!!! All you hear is the supercharger and the whoosh coming
out of the exhaust. Others said it was a must try - at least once. And, they were right.

I gather that will void the warranty on the engine and drive train?
Sounds like the power would be somewhere between the regular Stingray and the Z06?

Sorry about the title there. I guess that could be mistaken as another "Wrecked Corvette" thread.
I imagine a car sitting on it's roof with the wheels in the air would result in EXTREME loss of traction as well.
Congrats to you too on the A&A installation
I have the 3yr/36K warranty through Edelbrock. I'll have about a year and 15K miles or so. I waited long enough to make sure the car was sound, but not too long to use it if something should happen. After that, it's just like any other "repair it at your own expense" vehicle I have ever owned.
As for the comparison: Yes, it is somewhere in between - which is what I was looking for. 650HP is too much for me for my DD. And, I prefer the thinner look of the C7 without the stupid plastic wheel arches and wicker rice on the rear deck. Plus, I have an extra $50K in my wallet and lower insurance premiums with no gas guzzler tax too.
Seems like a win/win to me

That really is a clean looking install. Almost looks factory. Help me out with one picture: looks like black spray paint on the inside of the hood near the hood vent???

That looks really good in the engine bay, just like it wasmeant to be there. I will be having hte same traction loss issue in about 2 weeks as I am having the ECS SC installed with the base tune. But it will be a fun loss of traction.

Did you do you own install? How much does this upgrade cost? I agree with you on the look of the Stingray vs the Z06.

In the manual, it says to remove the inner liner and cut the following relief line if you are concerned
about the top of the blower making contact with any part of the liner. If so, it will slowly rub away the
paint and mark up the supercharger as the motor moves around. And, I intend to make it move around!!!
If you have any color other than black, they recommend spraying the area with black paint so you won't
notice the relief cut when the hood is open. And now, I kinda want the hood to be open
Yes, the exhaust note is different. In Sport, it almost sounds like Track. And in Track, is sound VERY angry!!!
The weirdest mode setting is still Stealth. Like I said, it is like Ninja mode. All you hear is the slightest bit of supercharger
whine and a whole lot of WHOOSHING air out the exhaust tips. I will post up some videos later - as I was a bit disappointed
in not being able to find much online prior to my purchase either. Anything I did find was just videos of cars on the dyno.
I'm still not sure what those are suppose to provide the viewer.

That is an outstanding mod to the car. Congrats and enjoy that new power.
