Interior cleaning
I spend a lot of time om my exterior and probably not enough detail to the interior with all my cars. I do use a duster and damp cloth and wipe down but I think I'm missing something. any thoughts/suggestions for total interior care. I don't use any interior products, all my cars have leather. I'm not a big fan of shiny dash and door panels, just clean looking.
thanks,

My opinion is that, unless you have incurred some unusually dirty situation, all that is ever needed, and all that is really safe, is simply a wipe-down with a damp cloth. I've rarely ever needed more, and my vehicles have stayed "like new" for many years. I attribute that to regular (weekly) exterior washing and interior damp cloth wipe-down. YMMV.

All of the leather surfaces in the Vette are coated, so what you're using is the best thing for it. I like Adams interior detailer for scuffs, and I really like the smell of Zaino leather in a bottle, so I use that too, just not on the seats because whatever you put there will just come off on your clothes. Aerospace 303 is good too, I like that product.

Keeps my "Jet Black" interior black. Not shiny or greasy and lasts.

Aerospace 303, nice natural finish and provides UV protection.

I just use a damp cloth to wipe everything down and the below Meguiar's product for the dash, and other interior surfaces, with good results

Five years ago I asked the same question over at autogeek. I asked for something that didn't make the dash look shiny or Matte but just made it look NEW. After two or three pages, from professional detailer's and hard core members, the WINNER was poorboy's natural look. I still use it today. It is a multi surface protectant for leather vinyl etc. the whole interior of this car is a plastic even the leather.

My daily drivers have leather. I have used Griot's Garage leather care for years. Easy to apply and a little goes a long way. I use it ever 2 - 3 months. I have grey leather seats. While the drivers seat obviously gets the most use, it still looks as good as the passenger and rear seats. I am not a fan of shiny surfaces either. I am ordering a GS with Adrenalin red leather this spring and plan on using this product on them.

P.S. I am not a fan of putting those "shine" products on the ash or other plastic items. I believe they will do more harm than good in the long run.

I use a damp microfiber cloth after I blow it out with compressed air to remove any lint then I use this....it is the best money I have spent for interior cleaning.

I use Griot's interior cleaner on everything: plastic, carpet, leather, it works great, cleans, doesn't harm the materials, leaves nothing behind, no shine and no odor.

When I was up at Laguna Seca for the races last year, all of the head engineers from Corvette were there. I spoke to the engineer that was the head of C7 interior design. I have a '16 black 3LT. He said that since all of the leather surfaces are coated, using any kind of leather conditioner was not only a waste of time, but not needed at all. He said for cleaning just use a damp micro fiber towel, and for deeper cleaning when needed, use a very small amount of simple green on the dampened towel. Since I have suede, he said use the same process for the suede.

Thanks to Glen e, we have used this product on our 2015 C7 and now on our GS. Great product and it smells great too.

You really need to try this stuff out ( I believe its only $11.99) to see, as well as smell, the before and after results. Don't know the "how" or "why" this stuff works, just that it does.

Thanks everyone, from what I had time to look at some of the stuff and all look good. I guess I have some research to do and pick one.
