Default *Peggy gets her Stingray Conv and many more delivery pics/Throwbacks-Mike@Criswell**

~Thanksgiving weekend is winding down and before you know it it will be a new Year. The 7th Generation Corvette is hot as a pistol and winning numerous awards. Living just below the Mason-Dixon line Winter Weather still makes it Cold and we get some snow which I'm not a big fan of as Golf and driving my Corvette are my outlets or therapy as some may call it.
My Father always said "This too shall pass", so Spring will be here before you know it but enjoy every day and make the best of it.

~Peggy B. from Odenton, MD called me up last week and she had been looking at my inventory on my CorvetteFurman.com web site. Peggy inquired about a Long Beach Red with Kalahari interior/top Z51 Convt. and Auto trans with 2LT pkg. We made the deal over the phone and yesterday Peggy took delivery of her dream Corvette. She last owned a 2004 Corvette Convt in Lemans Blue with Shale...she couldn't believe the differences.

~Willie and Rachel J. from Denham Springs, Louisiana called me 10 weeks ago and factory ordered their new 2017 Grand Sport Convt in Watkins Glen Gray with Adrenaline Red interior, Auto trans, Chrome wheels,3LT pkg and took delivery at the Corvette Museum this past week.
They had a blast as the red carpet was rolled out for them.

~Chris R. from Melville, NY had his 2017 Collectors Edition Grand Sport #42 shipped up to New York via Plycon Trucking. Here are some pics just before it left and as it arrived at Chris's driveway. This Corvette is stunning.

~Local Businessman picked up this 2017 Z06 Convt in Admiral Blue with Gray top and Dark Gray interior...this Z is loaded with 3LZ pkg, Auto Trans, chrome wheels and much more.

~Corvette truckloads come 2-3 times per week and I caught this one at 8am.

~Adam's Polishes just sent me their new top of the line Polisher. I can't wait to try it out. Everyone that buys a Corvette (new or used) from me gets a really nice Gift certificate to purchase from Adam's Polishes.

~Spring Mountain Race Track sent me some embroidered shirts to wear at work and different Corvette events that I attend. So glad I don't have to wear a sport jacket, shirt and tie. I have been to this track in Pahrump, NV a dozen times and I plan on being there again next October. Stay tuned.

~I stopped by Tony's Corvette shop the other day as it's only 2 miles from my house. He always has some interesting Corvette projects going on. Tony has two big buildings and its always like going to a Corvette show when visiting him.

~Throwback pictures etc....

~Thanksgiving has passed...

and now Christmas is near.

use a Ford to go get a tree...and keep your Corvette clean.

Have a great week!

Default throwback pics

The white 63 in the showroom got me puzzled. That car in the "Financial" poster features a Camaro concept car far into the future if this was 1963. So it appears to be from an early 90's vette show at a dealership which still makes it an antique.

Pic below it shows Todd and Buz from TV series Route 66. Actor Martin Milner a.k.a. Todd died in Sep 2015 at age 83. By all accounts a very humble and down to earth guy. The dark hair George Maharis is still with us at age 88. That show got a lot of us guys into vettes.

Check out this site for some great pics & info on the filming of the show. And why Maharis left the show.

Always enjoy your posts Mike! Route 66 was one of my favorite shows too! Of course it was in black and white. I always imagined they drove a RED Corvette! So there are George Maharis and Martin Millner with a LIGHT BLUE Corvette! Imagination destroyed, Ha!

Peggy has exquisite taste selecting a Long Beach Red Vert with Kalahari top and interior! About like the one Marcie selected from your inventory! But her 14 is Crystal Red Metallic. Is CRM the same as LBR? Just a different name or are the colors different?

Have a great week!

Much different color. LBR is closer to a Burgundy metallic.
