Can you fit Z06 exhaust onto a Stingray?
Title says it all. Is the Z06 exhaust system physically identical to the base Stingray? If I were to buy a Z06 muffler, would they bolt right onto the Stingray X-pipe or are the dimensions and/or curvature of the pipes different? Or a similar question, would a Corsa or Borla (as examples) exhaust for the Z06 fit a Stingray and vice versa? Tried doing a search and general consensus seems to be they appear to be the same in dimension but no definitive answer.

The xpipe is the same for both; the zo6 does not have AFM actuators; you would have the cut the pipe and retain the Z51's over axle pipes and weld to the zo6 cans or you can tune out AFM and void your warrenty.

Yes, the cat-back portion of the NPP exhaust is identical, however, the Z06 lacks the AFM valves as mentioned above.

Question reference this thread.
Will a Z06 NPP exhaust work on a Stingray non NPP car? Will it bolt right up?
