Not too surprised at that news. It was not a color I would have chosen.

If anything, Sterling Blue should have replaced Blade Silver as they are so close. Laguna Blue was a better blue IMO.

It's not a color I would've considered.

It was a matter of time, as it looks more like a silver then a blue, The deeper blues look so much better, to close to silver. Maybe it would have sold more if they called it STERLING SILVER

As an owner of a Sterling Blue GS I think that is awesome news LOL
In my opinion, and anyone's that has seen my car, the color looks great in person. With them cancelling it so early, it will mean that there are only few of them build, which makes my car a bit more rare Not gonna stop me from driving it though, way too much fun!!!

I thought I would really like this color but when I saw it in person did not like it at all. It does not look like Silver at all, it is a very feminine light blue. No surprise it is getting the boot.

If anything, I see you struggle with the concept of "IMO".
Even so, maybe if I was responsible for making those decisions, perhaps GM wouldn't be canceling a color less than 10 months into a production run based on low sales and the fact that it's barely distinguishable to another color that was already available. Laguna Blue was the fifth best selling color behind White, Black, Red, and Gray in 2016 and the combined sales of Blade Silver and Sterling Blue haven't come close to matching the Laguna Blue sales. I think there was more room in the market for both Laguna Blue and Admiral Blue than there is for Blade Silver and Sterling Blue based on the units sold.

I hope they replace it with VY as the CRY is making a lot of folks cry including me. I was at the dealer and was thinking of trading in my VY 2014 Z51 for a Z06 but because there is that butt ugly CRY I decided to leave and keep my VY Z51

It just makes me wonder why they brought that colour in, in the first place. Someone screwed up on that ! Perhaps you have to see it to appreciate it but where's the focus groups and feedback from Corvette owners ? Just another screw up from the people who make these decisions in a vacuum. It will make those who have the color love it that much more as it has a rarity property to it now.

Friend just got one and told the sales person it was Blade Silver the first time he saw it. I thought it was Blade Silver the first time I saw it in the bright Florida Sun.
