I have been trying to see my Car but the impound owner kept giving me the run around so after 17 days 14 more to go he actually did today cos I wanted to put a car cover .. the owner came out and told us we had 15 min to do so then he came and said some bad racial stuff ( I am East Indian and my wife is Chinese) he said we are not welcomed and go back where we came from !!!!! 😡😡😡😡😡... I so wanted to hit this guy but he is my dads age ...

Sounds unbelievable guy sounds like a jackass. Any state or city that would lock my car up for that many days for that offense I would leave asap. Who knows what they will take away next. Sounds scary there.

Bring a booster pack when it gets paroled and remember, the battery is in the back, passenger side, since it's backed in it may not be easy to boost with another car if there are two vehicles park beside it.

I would bring a second person and a recording device to any future meetings with the impound area.

Got a ticket and impound for 30 days because of tinted windows and tail lights.
Has 13 days to go before he can get it out.

First....I guess according to YOUR laws you were guilty and they had the right to IMPOUND your car. I would imagine the IMPOUND lot has THEIR rules about what and when you can see or do anything to your car. I would also think a little bit of HONEY goes a long way in that situation. Second...There is no call for ANYONE to be rude to someone else unless they were rude in the first place. Third....Be very careful about men your Father's age....some are in great shape and can still put you over their knee.

You are somewhat lucky as impound lots are here make sure they leave your windows open all the time, regardless of the weather. Usually rope off the steering wheel to the out side mirror and bust the mirror. Lots protected and not responsible for any damage.

Love it...cleaner, with less crime.

In fact, it is on my Final Destination list I am considering over the Winter before the house goes up for sale next Spring: Hawaii, Central Oregon, Vancouver Island.

This is a sad story on a number of fronts. BUT I'll tell you what........ I'd be prepared that your car got damaged in the tow and or storage. I dont know who you bring when you when you pick it up but I would pay to have an independent witness who can support you and your review of the car before you drive it away.

Also I would have a recorder hidden on me to record any and all conversations.

Never put a cover on a car that isn't absolutely spotless; you'll scratch the heck out of it. Besides, the car won't melt before you get it back.
