On a more serious note, NEVER put a rear-facing child seat in the front seat of any car. You will smush the baby if the airbag deploys. Generally you don't want to put any child in the front seat, even with a front-facing child seat, unless you can guarantee the airbag will not deploy.
So in answer to your question, it will be MANY years before you can safely and legally bring your child with you in your Corvette.

On the C7, there is no manual switch like the '05 had (last year with a switch), it is just like subsequent years, which is weight dependent. I don't know exactly what the tipping point is ( 70 lbs. ish…. I suspect, in real life, it changes with seat fitment and other variables ).
Even if you could disable it, I would never put an infant seat in the passenger seat, and even after you could turn the seat around, I would be leery doing so.
I wish I could tell you otherwise, because you would have been the coolest daddy at preschool.

Other replies might be correct for their local situations. Child seat laws vary from state to state. In California, you can legally put a forward-facing seat in the front seat of a vehicle that doesn't have a back seat. The age for switching from rear-facing to forward-facing also depends on local laws. In CA, the minimum forward-facing age is changing from 1 year to 2 years on Jan 1, 2017.
The Corvette doesn't have the LATCH anchors that are the easiest way to install a car seat, but most, if not all, car seats can be secured using the car's seat belts. The C7 belts have a child seat mode that locks the retractor so you can tighten the belt, but it can't be extended. The passenger airbag deactivates if the car detects that there's not a full-sized adult in the passenger seat. This is based on weight on the seat (and possibly influenced by the retractor lock; I'm not sure).
Some child seats are bigger than others, so you'd want to find a smaller (narrower) one for best fit.
To sum up, you can put a child seat in a C7, and the car is designed to allow you to do so. The local laws where you live may or may not allow you to do so legally. Your specific child seat may or may not fit conveniently, depending on its size and shape. Whether or not you are comfortable putting a child in the Corvette is up to you, but it's pretty fun to hear a two year old yell "Bye, bye, cars! Vroom!"

Wish I had a the answer you are looking for.
I just remember when my children were very small, wife and I would just put them into the infant carrier and put it between us in the front straddling the center console. Now we'd prolly go to jail if caught doing that.
Nanny state indeed.

On the other hand, it IS legal to put a child in the front seat (but check your state's laws) if it is the only seat available (for example, the rest of your kids are filling up the back seats).

Thanks, Velox72, for reminding me, the last (only) Corvette that had the Latch anchors were the C6 FRC ( Z06 and ZR1) . Ironic, when you think about it.

2015 C7 of the Year Finalist
Per the Owner's Manual 3-34
I wouldn't recommend it.

Rear-facing child restraints should
not be installed in the vehicle, even
if the airbag is off.
Do not secure a child seat in a
position without a top tether anchor
if a national or local law requires
that the top tether be anchored, or if
the instructions that come with the
child restraint say that the top strap
must be anchored.
