Possible Spring Mountain Z06's for sale?
I stumbled across some used 2016 Z06/Z07/3LZ/M7's for sale, and all were being sold by the same non-GM dealer. They all have fewer than 5500 miles. Each comes with a CarFax report but in all the reports, the first reference for the vehicle in question is when it was acquired by the selling dealer.
Perhaps if you have access to GM's system you could see their provenance.
Here are the VIN's
1G1YT2D67G5604851

1G1YT2D60G5605114
1G1YT2D64G5604886

As long as you understand that all Spring Mountain cars come with a GM warranty block on the drivetrain, you could score a good deal.
Everything but the drivetrain is still covered under warranty, but for some, that's kinda like saying, "other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how did you like the play."

I promise you when you run the VINs you will see the powertrain warranty blocks if they are actually Spring Mountain cars. That's been documented on this forum over and over again, and if you PM member NDogg, he is a Corvette sales manager who is very helpful to people here and will run the numbers for you.
They are delivered to Spring Mountain w/ that warranty block, which I'm sure allows them to get deeply discounted pricing on the cars they purchase. Spring Mountain cars will also show up as never having been registered.
Yes, if pressed, the dealer will be forced to disclose that.

Green,
If you click on the VINs in your OP, the VIN Decoder identifiying it as a 16 Z06 will come up. On that is a "show me the Carfax" link. When you click on that everything single one of those VINs has 2 records showing. The VINs are within 200 numbers of each other meaning they were all built and delivered at about the same time. That almost certainly means they are former Spring Mountain cars--what are the odds of all 5 cars having exactly 2 records.
You have to pay for the report to see what they are, but one will be delivery, and the other may be the powertrain warranty block, but I'm not sure that gets reported by GM to Carfax. A completely clean used 2016 would have 4-5 records, including delivery, at least 1-2 dealer oil changes including the 500 change, the date it was sold, when it was registered, etc. Since Spring Mt. does all their own maintenance, there would be no dealer service records showing. However, everyone says they are very meticulous about routine maintenance.
You can order order the full Carfax from that link above for small fee.

Even though the cars at Spring Mountain are used for a high performance driving school they really aren't abused. The school maintains the cars well and fixes issues when they come up. While I was there for two days I didn't see a single car in my class being abused by any of the drivers. Most of the drivers in my class were much slower than the 4 drivers in my group and none of the 4 drivers in my group were abusing their cars. There was no need to.
With 5500 miles on the the drive train and used the way they have been it is likely they will not have any drive train issues. In fact they may be better than a garage queen that has sat in the garage and has 300 miles on it.
The price the cars are being sold for probably more than offsets the lack of warranty. The other thing is modern cars rarely have major drivetrain issues with most warranty claims coming from the chassis and electronics.
It all depends on price and the risk you are willing to take. Determining the risk is the hard part. I suspect the risk on these cars isn't as high as some people might intimate. I can remember when a new car warranty lasted 6 months/6000 miles and that was when cars were more likely to have a major power train problem in the first 3 years.

I completely agree with Bill. Any powertrain manufacturing defects would have been exposed by Spring Mountain use. They are also well-maintained. Chances are you won't have any powertrain problems.
It all comes down to your level of risk tolerance. The reason I brought it up was only to make folks aware that they do carry a powertrain warranty block, which needs to be known. Many don't realize that.
I just did a quick search. Here's more info, and apparently former Spring Mountain cars are sold at a SoCal dealership called DC Motors owned by a Spring Mountain member.
See post #15 in the link below. It's not just powertrain that is blocked, but also suspension, brakes systems, and steering.

It appears that they block a significant number(likely all) of brake, powertrain, steering and suspension labor op codes.
For the right price, it could be worth it to some. This is the first time I ran a VIS on a Spring Mountain car. I thought it was just Powertrain block at first.
Hope this helps.

Also worthy of note: the warranty blocks also mean the car is not eligible for any type of extended warranty or service contract from GM (GMEPP). So it's not like you can buy the car cheap and then just add GMEPP to cover yourself.
Also not sure if any 3rd party company would warranty it either, being that the factory warranty was blocked. (not that I would recommend *any* 3rd party warranty)

Here they are, and VINs match the OP. They are disclosed as former GM driving school vehicles with "warranty limitations." Asking prices aren't all that impressive, but they are just asking prices.
