Default Bought a Grand Sport yesterday

After two years of being on this forum, soaking up info on the Corvette, I've finally made my decision and pulled the trigger on my first Corvette (in fact, my first Chevrolet) and joined the Corvette club!

I got a GS 2LT Black Rose tintcoat with the upgraded wheels with the 7-speed manual, PDR, navigation and DAMN is this a fine car! I'm loving it already, despite babying it somewhat on breakin (using half throttle or so to 3500 RPM, letting it decelerate under load from 3500, varying speeds and gear often, etc). But even babying it, it's obvious what's in store.

EDIT: Updated the pic in this post and added more pics to page 3

Congrats also on a cool ride.
I see that you got the PDR option, did your car come with a SD Card installed?

My Stingray, took delivery last Friday, did not come with a SD Card. The factory does not install the card. You will have to bite the bullet and purchase one.

Here's the only pic I have so far - I'll take more when it's daylight and I've cleaned it (it was a bit rainy yesterday brining her home).

Great looking car! That is what I am considering, a 2LT with an M7. Best of luck.
Look like chrome wheels?? Did you consider machined face aluminum? That is what I'm thinking I'll get on my GS but have not seen a good pic and have not seen a GS in person!

I hope not - I just ordered a 128GB off Amazon 5 minutes ago. I'll report back when I get to car and see if they gave me one. I'm thinking not, because when the salesman and I were in the car (him in the passenger seat) he was showing me where the SD card slot is and we both touched it and I just felt a slot/hole with no impression a card sitting in it.

Me too! But so far it's looking to be worth it!

I have a question for you all. I remember reading about various creaks/rattles associated with the removable roof. Somebody on the forums I think fixed it but they had to take it apart and weld something was loose or something? Has Chevy fixed that issue so current year cars don't have rattles in the roof panel?

I haven't seen many of the machine-faced wheels that turn me on.

The options for the wheels read "Grand Sport Chrome Aluminum Wheels" $1,995. They're very nice in person - I was one of the ones who was complaining in earlier threads about the GS reusing the previous wheel design. I'm not complaining now that I've seen them in person - they're hot (especially in chrome).
