And in keeping with my difficult MD friend, it's interesting you lumped the C7 Stingray into one category, but broke out the Grand Sport. There are perhaps more mechanical differences between the Z51 and base than there are between the Z51 and the Grand Sport. Obviously, the GS does have bigger tires and brakes in addition to the Z06 body panels, but otherwise, it's basically a Z51.

Well there was a great shot of a Z06 posed in a beautiful Christmas scene just above, which was the motivation for my original post, but now it's gone.
