Don’t do TEXAS SPEED
SEE VIDEO ATTACHED, this on the down shifts on an a8 but I bought the Texas Speed Longtube headers for my C7 vette and have had nothing but issues since. I even bought the 1 7/8 inch because they said the 2 inch may rub but that should’ve been a warning sign enough. I did BBK LTs on my 2010 SS camaro and KOOKs on my 2016 camaro SS both ran amazing and never had issues for the many miles I drove them. This is less than a month in and since day one has caused issues. I wanted to do headers cam and more from them but instead I’m paying for repairs and issues on my dream car that they have ruined. I regret working with them, I notified them before this video as well in two ways but it’s not a priority unless your buying this sub par crap. I gave them a chance but I should’ve stuck with the companies I know. Side note installs on l my GM vehicles have been done by the same people each time so no user error. Just listen to the other bad reports of cheap imported parts. Should be called CHINA SPEED.

Safety Car
Headed from Sudbury, Ontario, Canada to St. Paul, Minnesota (through Green Bay route) on Monday and arrived Tuesday. Left Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. and headed to Marquette, Michigan. Then returned to Sudbury on Thursday. Overall, including local driving, I put about 3,000 Km on the corvette. It rained Monday night and my C7 did not melt!
Pretty good roads with some patching. I found the concrete roads to be very noisy in the C7 and patching with asphalt in some areas to be rough. The joints are also noisy. Pretty good roads all the way except in Sault St. Marie, Canada. Embarrassing that Canada would not try to make a better impression on our American visitors.
Impressive that all the US roads I was on had grass on the side of the roads. in Canada we mostly have gravel which ends up on the road and thrown up by trucks.
The US is very neat and all the people we met were very friendly. Very nice, clean hotels as well.
I did not see a single corvette on the road until I arrived back in Sudbury!
The back of the C7 sure collects dirt! Cleaned it up yesterday evening and did not find a single rock chip. I did have the bra on the front, which collected a lot of bugs and grit.
I found the C7 to be very comfortable and easily drove 12 hours in one section without getting tired. The GPS is lousy though. At the start of the trip, at Sault St. Marie it was convinced I should not cross into the US but should go through Thunder Bay, Canada first. I had to head well into Michigan before it accepted that route. I later realized I should have put in a way-point and forced it to select a route through the way-point.

Just ordered a stage 3 splitter and tall canards in carbon fiber (painted) to go with my stage 3 spoiler and wickerbill. Should be here by May 30th. I'm pretty pumped about it!

I’ll go somewhere that I don’t need to go and then take the long way back home...especially now that the weather is great and the roof panel is stowed in the back.
Good times.
