What did you do to your C7 today?

Heel & Toe
2016 C7, Z51, Artic white, 2LT, adrenaline red. It's back in the dealer for the second time for warped front rotors. First attempt at a fix was to turn the rotors at approximately 3,000 miles. Now I'm just short of 10,000 miles. Does anyone have any idea how many times they can be turned and remain safe? My understanding is that these are the original, 2-piece rotors. Discovered here in the forums that this is a known problem. I presume the real fix is to replace them with a one piece rotor. Would appreciate anyone else's perspective/experience who has been down this path before me.

Warped brake rotors
Just back from the dealer on the warped brake rotors. It seems there is a GM Service Bulletin 16-NA-170 from June, 2016 on this very topic and applies to Corvettes where the front rotors were built prior to May, 2016 and the rears built prior to July 23, 2015. That bulletin says to replace the front and rear 2 piece rotors with one piece rotors. Part numbers at that time were 2420671 front and 2420761 rear. However, I was told the rear part number may have changed to 23322785.
Not sure why my dealer didn't know about or use this remedy when I took mine in for service late 2017.
I hope this helps others with the same problem.

I put this lovely lady in my garage!
18 years ago my cousin took me for a ride in his C4 and I immediately wanted a Corvette. Then 10 years ago I almost bought a C5, but decided against it as it would have been my only car and I didn't know where the military would send me. 2 months ago I got out of the military and moved to Dallas and finally pulled the trigger on this beauty. Let the Mods to begin: Corsa exhaust, side skirts, front splitter, MGW shifter, CAI, and then a pulley and tune. Maybe some new wheels.

Big congrats to you. Well deserved after serving for our country. Let us know if you decide to go with some aftermarket wheels, we would be honored to work with you.

Reminded of my 260Z where I added the same. However there it was needed as I had no air conditioning! I was living "Up-North" at the time but it was a help when I left work. I also added a large rear spoiler like yours and my Stage 2 aero Grand Sport. Also a very large air dam. Both were needed to help reduce the lift that the Z was known for. One of the car mags ran tests and found 140 pound lift at 70 mph and 35 in the rear. The parts I bought produced 100 lbs downforce in the front (leaving 40 pounds of lift and the rear added 35 pounds canceling the original lift. It was sure needed at100 mph+

I saw a frame similar to this at Carlisle a few weeks ago. Looked at a LOT of various combinations before I found this one.

Installed Z06 style rear quarter panel scoops on the Z51.
Fun Fact: I could not get the quarter panel to release from passenger side so I used a Dremel tool to cut out the original vent scoop. Completely reversible too! Was able to reach in and remove nuts and pop out the old and snap in the new.

Our Corvette club was invited out to a local winery to celebrate its 6-year anniversary. Finally had a chance to see what the car looks like with the flags.
