I also plan on getting my wheels stripped from the horrible black factory paint, and gloss black powder coated, with a ceramic coating added for protection, and ease of cleaning. I'll post more updates as the rest of my parts come in. I ordered the front and rear rotors.

FWIW, no help to you if you already bought new OEM pads but I was cleaning my OEM black wheels with OEM Z51 brake pads every 2 or 3 trips to town (~50 miles total each trip) or the dust not only looked bad it was pitting my Black Wheels. After ~6 months switched to Carbotech 1521's and not only was their ~85% less dust what was there was not pitting my wheels! I then washed my wheels only when I washed the car. When I sold it 3 1/2 years later the wheels lokked new!

When I got my Grand Sport switched to ceramic pads day one! However found the cheap pads I bought needed to be warm to stop well and did not match the excellect stops I had with cold pads in my Z51. Tossed them at ~900 miles and bought the more expensive Carbotech 1521's. Now those larger 6 piston Grand Sport front pads stopped great with cold or hot pads.

Not bad, I had to remove about 8 or so torx screws, and pull the top of the fender away from the car about 5 or 6 inches. Only takes about 15 minutes per side.
Below is a video for a reference.

I put Carbotech 1521's on my GS today. Goodbye annoying brake dust.

Default Replaced under warranty

The red lettering on my original LT1 valve covers flaked off badly. The dealer replaced originals under warranty. I sprayed them with a matte clear acrylic enamel in hopes of keeping them from doing that again. If it happens again, I'm going to look for something custom. I've seen some really cool looking custom valve covers on the forum. Definitely will be interested in getting something that might last longer than the original.

I recently added before I parked it for the winter ACS Composite XL rock guards front and rear and also added front fender extensions all in carbon flash.

How hard was it? I’m about to do it tomorrow along with the Oracle markers.

It was not bad. Rock guards were easy. The front fender extensions the drivers side went easy. The passenger side was a little harder to get off with the 3m tape. The best part I did not need to pay someone to install them.
