Can not argue that. However, the flat straight roads are very easy to beat......

Default First wash

After a little rain around the area (Phoenix metro) for a couple of days, I washed my new, used 2017 for the 1st time. I thought it would be an easy vehicle to wash, but just the opposite. Lots of different contours, openings and horizontal surfaces.

Interesting thing was when I took the battery back for core charge return I had them load test it and it checked out good...turned it in anyway as I wanted piece of mind.
Fyi, anyone doing this the battery is pia to get out. I bought a battery strap that hooks to the terminals and wiggled it out then returned the strap with the core. Whole job took under 30 minutes.

FWIW, I bought an inexpensive battery strap that fit the battery posts - Cheap. But since the posts are on one side the battery tilts. I was "fortunate" That they slipped on the first try with the battery still in the hole! 2nd try got it out of the hole and I put it on the deck. Then picked it up with my hands and took it out of the car!

For those who have not replaced the battery, be careful! I bought an AGM battery replacement with 20% more capacity for ~$125 a few years ago when on sale. It came with handles and getting it in was easy!

Last weekend I replaced the rear spoiler with a C7 Carbon CF stage 3 spoiler and swapped out my stock dash with a factory carbon fiber.

It all looks awesome! I am waiting for my Stage 3 carbon fiber rear spoiler from APR Performance to be delivered along with their carbon fiber winglets for the APR Stage 2 chin spoiler I installed last week. I am undecided if I should do the install of the rear spoiler myself or have a body shop do it? How complicated was it to take off the rear end and how long did it take? Also, can you speak to the difficulty of swapping out the dash? I love the look of the carbon fiber.....it really adds to the overall appearance of the interior.

Been really cold here in the North East. Took both driver side wheels off, brought them in to clean, polish and seal.
Gave half the car a quick waterless wash even though it isn't real dirty, going to start to polish the one side, flip it around and do the other, and then finally seal it.
Trying to determine if I want to put color matched A Pillars on. Also debating on a tune and some mods.
Cannot wait until it warms up a bit.

3 coats of Fingernail polish. Couldnt believe how hard it was just to find a “red” polish. Ended up at an Ulta store and got China Glaze #1393 The Heat Is On.

How's the wing holding up? Any cracks in the rear deck or paint?

Very cool. What type of paint and brush did you use? I considered the decals from Haru Creative below. But I would rather paint them.
