2023 C7 of the Year Winner - Unmodified
2018 C6 of Year Winner
Since taking delivery in November, today was the first top-down cruise! Went to a Cars & Coffee about 70 miles away. We have had convertibles of every generation, but the C7 convertible is the first one that doesn't beat you up with wind buffeting.

Installed the 3-piece “Blockit” sound deadening kit and took a nice long back-roads drive. I used both “Tour” and “Sport” NPP settings. My first impression is very positive. It seems to have the biggest impact on the most annoying noise in the coupe, which is tire whine. Exhaust still sounds great in Sport mode, and the tire “thump” over expansion joints, which is there in most sporting cars and does not bother me, also comes through...
I need to get it on the interstate for 30 miles or so before posting a positive review on one of the “Blockit” threads, but so far, so good.

C7 of the Year - Unmodified Finalist 2021
I have a 3pm appointment so I will head over there around 1ish and check it out for an hour
ok, the thing starts around noon, but some guys go early to snap up the best locations and sit there all day on their fat asses. lol I like to move around and look at the cars and get more mod ideas. IF I can make it, and so far nothing has popped up to ruin my plans, I will leave home around 1:00 PM. I've never been there on opening day, so I have no idea of the turnout; but any time I can get the car on the highway I am game. I do still want to see your car and all the cool CF parts.

Added oil today for the first time to my 2019 Stingray using my handy dandy screw in funnel! It hasn't had its first oil change yet and with only 1,550 miles and 40% oil life it was hungry for a quart of oil. I bought it new in September and the oil life indicator counts down the oil life percentage even though the car is not being driven and in storage.

Oil is easy to change if you can get under it. Can save yourself the labor and fee costs.

Yeah I have the Dry Sump in my Z51 but last year the cost was just a little of $100 so seems like a big jump but the price we pay for our fun. I do all my mods but don’t have interest in doing the oil myself so cost of ownership.
5 qt container of Mobile 1 is around $23. (Dry sump = 9.8qts) Filter should be around $10. So the dealer is charging you an hour of labor or so, at about $85/hr plus disposal fees, tax, etc... Sounds about right if you have a dry sump car. Up over $100/hr if standard engine.
