Got those body-colored roof spears from Vette-skins for my transparent top yesterday so I got out the clean rags, isopropyl alchohol, heat gun and installed them. So far, they appear to be well made. They color is right, they fit just right and hopefully they will be durable enough to last.
As per instructions, I'll continue pressing on the appliques for several days until it's all cured. Until then, the roof panel sits in my family room on the floor in front of the fireplace. Hope the wife doesn't move it.
1. Install C7 carbon fiber splitter and GTX side skirts.
2. New brake pads Z26 for less brake dust
3. Black lug nuts
4. Suede Z06 steering wheel with red stitching and rev match paddles. Had to cover the Z06 logo not thrilled about the GS sticker maybe I'll sand the logo out.
5. Suede shifter and shiftboot red stitch
6. Stage two rear winglets
7. Loyds grand sport floor mats
8. Rear cargo shade
9. Black out side markers
10. Wash, Iron X, clay mitt, Wolfgang prep and uber ceramic coat.
Dusted it off....took my wife out to brunch....dusted it again.....went to the store....dusted it again....this is getting ridiculous....the dust and pollen in the AZ air is out of control. And the black wheels....OMG....need ceramic pads and soon....in 3 weeks I've cleaned the wheels 15 times....
I drove mine on a rainy day today after putting on Mother's Brazilian Carnauba wax on the windshield and using a 10" electrical buffer on Saturday !!! Its not a fast buffer so no wax was flying all over the rest of the car !!! Wayne
I was on the fence about the carbon fiber splitter and side skirts before now , looks perfect
