Tach colors turned at exactly 500 miles so stressed the valve springs a bit more with some 5000 rpm shifts.

Tomorrow 5500! Red line by mid week!

Had American Heritage Performance put on my new spoiler and z06 tail lights. They also put on the passenger side fender vent. They did a great job with all body panels looking perfectly aligned. Many thanks to Kohle.

I have my bezels in hand but I'll wait until the diffuser arrives before putting them on.

Had the 500 mile oil change done on Saturday.
Today I dropped it off to have the fender/bumper paint problem fixed.

Waiting to get another new windshield installed. Replaced in 2014 due to rock strike. Now it has a stress crack.

Added RPI shift ****. Love how it looks! Feel is good, but I would prefer if it was heavier. It's very light. I like the lower position. Install took 5 min.

what type of Sparco seats is that? The back rest are not movable? How is the ride position comfort with long hr drive?

Sparco EVO 2, seat is fixed in position. Literally bolted to the chassis. I love it. But it's not for the feint of heart. That said, I have easily done 8 hour days. Seat starts to hurt the *** about 2 hours in for me. But I find it worth the trade off. One benefit I noted of sitting lower in the tub with a fixed race seat is, I'm not buffeted nearly as bad with the top off. Very tolerable going 80 mph now, vs every thing over 50 mph sucking with the stock seat.

Installed my new License Plate.

After reading two books re the history of the original Grand Sport and the life of Zora Duntov while waiting for my Grand Sport to be built and shipped thought this tribute to ZORA was appropriate.

License Plate meets SC Law, i.e. "No Part of any Number of Letter Can be Covered," Decals are Allowed as Long as They Meet That Criteria. Makes the 15th Jake!

500 mile break-in oil change done. Had to order a new rear tire because I ended up with a 3 inch nail through mine.

^^^
Sorry to hear that. Glad I got a "life of the tire (3 yr max) warranty" from Discount Tire for my new Grand Sport. There was a special, $250. They will fix flats where possible and replace the tire if it's not repairable. I brought the car there with <50 miles but don't think they think they really care as the replacement is based on tread wear as with normal tire warranties.

Much cheaper than the dealer wheel/tire warranty.

Guess I am just going to look at it and dream of driving it again . Darn township road crew stoned and chipped the road in front of my house. What a waste of money, doesn't do anything except beat up the cars.
