What did you do to your C7 today?

Well, like usual I just looked at it sitting under the California Car Cover and thought one less day till I can get it back on the road.
Made sure all lights were right on the tender, as the car sits for 5- 6 months in the brutal winters we get in Northern NY.

My still very new 2016 Stingray 2LT Z51 Torch Red on Jet Black A8 sits up in the mountains of New Hampshire - 850 miles showing. (I'm in MA) So bummed that I can't even see it, signed a P&S just today for a new home to be built in MA with a 2-car garage ! thought I could make it thru this winter....I failed

Drove it....knocked some snow off from under the fender wells, nothing too spectacular really. I did put gas in it yesterday though.

Put another twelve miles on the clock, it is winter. The streets were clean, no salt or grit. Decided to go for ice cream (heated seats work great). I now have a total of 164 miles on it. Car delivered on December 9th.

Put in LED's in the hatch and license plate areas, easy mod but my tired eyes don't see much difference.

Put it on the battery tender and stuck rolled up wads of newspapers into the rear exhaust pipes to ward off mice.

Wiped down everything under the hood and ready to install my new Stingray hood liner. While cleaning I noticed the long rubber molding in front of the wipers was loose. Turned out some flashing on a small hook prevented the molding from hooking on. Quick clean up with needle nose and all was good. This is a new 2017 on drivers side.

Today the weather is not so nice so I used a one step cleaner wax and went over the whole car. About six hours worth of polishing! Car's first real detailing after delivery.

lowered mine on the bolts and went for a quick ride so the suspension would settle in.

Hey Larry! I went thru the customer tracking thread with you as our orders and builds progressed. I took delivery 1 week b4 you did. You should move to Florida; I have 2100 miles on the od. I can't stop driving it. Very addictive!!

Washed it (again) and applied a coat of synthetic wax and then one layer of regular carnauba wax on top of that, then went over that with a spray detailer. Then I also detailed the inside and under the hood as well.

does installing the Wicker Bill in my head count? Or do I have to wait to actually put it on the car. I did pick the part up today!
OEM.
Im done with the bat wing look at the back.
Was fun while it lasted but need a change (and all this salt washed away!)

Not that I have not been able to drive it, but the weather has definitely impacted the number of miles. Normally drive the Corvette about 500 miles per month. Many here have snow up to the bottom of the windows or inches of ice. Can't complain!

Cold but clear day in the Pacific Northwest so I took it out and drove it to church with the wife. Got lots of compliments from some church friends and kids. Then went to dinner at a friends house with lots of compliments from folks there too.
Great day to be out in it...
