Converted by leather dash driver side batwing to Alcantara or suade including the passenger leather dash pad to suede.
Including the shifter A/T in suede.
That passenger dash pad is PITA to do.

All days work Im pleased with the outcome.

My nephew was nice enough to paint my plenum fuel rail covers. Turned out pretty nice, really pops when you open the hood.

Default Cruised to Watch Hill Rhode Island

Hi all! My husband and I took a great cruise with our Corvette club "For Corvettes Only" from Mystic Connecticut to Jamestown Rhode Isand. Had an awesome time with friends and got to take some fetching pics of my car! Corvette season is upon us in the Northeast! At the Ocean!

I was at Bayside (in Walled Lake yesterday) and on Woodward most of the night (at the Shell station in Royal Oak). Today I just drove the car around for 3 hours, after taking it to Church.

Well..it wasn't today..but last week I spent over 15 hours detailing my car for the upcoming season....Here is the rundown of what I did and the products I used. I have listed links to these products...(I list the links only to help others who might be interested in using the products)

1. Full wash with Nanoskin Mitt to remove any dirt and contaminants on the clear coat. http://a.co/1T1IqCl

2. Spray down the clear coat with Sonax Iron Fallout Cleaner http://a.co/iyzCKKw

3. Full paint correction with my new Flex polisher, (http://a.co/8AjwPTb) Sonax Perfect finish polish (http://a.co/3ScEpZJ) and 8 Lake Country Hybrid Force Orange pads. (https://www.autogeek.net/lc-5-hyb-combo.html)

4. Full Ceramic coating with Gyeon Syncro Coating kit. (http://a.co/j1l1mwL)

I researched The Gyeon Syncro kit and saw very favorable ratings for quality and ease of application, so I gave it a go...

The kit has a two stage application process. I applied two coats of the hard ceramic coating Mohs, within 1 hour of each other. Then I waited 4 hours to apply the top coat called Skin! This product is as advertised! Amazingly easy to apply and the gloss is AMAZING! Here is a video review that I watched which made me buy the product.

5. The next day I topped off the coating with Polish Angel Cosmic Spritz which added a great layer of protection on the coating and even more gloss!

The weather finally turned nice this past weekend and I was able to get the car out and attend a few car shows....I took some pictures...It is hard to make white really pop...but I think I achieved great results..
