Took it to the Boerne, Texas car show. Even with the threat of rain, the show was well attended. I started raining around 3p when I got home just before I got her safely back in the garage.

I'm salty I can't order the 2022 Map Update anymore and that there are no further Map Updates. How can Map Updates stop for the 2019 with only 3 years of updates. I think you can get 2023 updates (A14) for Ford's My Ford Touch (Sync2) which was last in a vehicle in 2016. What is GM's problem? Ridiculous...

why is it always something.. .safelite emailed me stating that the only option is factory glass, so the price went from $400 to $1030... wtf

I understand the frustration,,,, but in the long run you might be better off with OEM glass.

to me glass is glass, not a purist when it comes to oem only (not knocking people that are) i found a place that has it in stock so it is still going in tomorrow

havent even called them because it will take even longer, havent driven the car in a week now and it is driving me crazy walking by it every day in the garage

I think Safelight will work with your insurance company for you. You don't have to do it.

If I file a glass claim on my phone, the day you file, you setup an appointment with Safelite. Literally takes 0 time.

tbh safelite annoyed me, i scheduled the appt last thurs and then they email me today stating the price increase and it will take them 3 days to get it in

The saga continues... got the window in and the tech came and told me I wasn't going to like it. It's about 1/4 inch too short, it seals and no wind noise but he was right. They are letting me keep this glass while oem comes in, I just paid the $300 difference. Still about $250 less than safelite quoted. In the pic you can see the rub mark on the weatherstrip from old window

but hey, at least I can drive car now and no more rattling glass in the door

When fully up, it only goes onto second weatherstrip maybe 1/8 of an inch. He is going to let his supplier it doesn't fit

added more chrome hood vent trim, put chrome on lower spiler, wrapped edges of race mesh grille, added trim around rear rellector lights stingray emblems to engine
